Riccardo Del Fra a été le contrebassiste de Chet Baker durant près de 9 ans, mais il a également joué avec Johnny Griffin, Bob Brookmeyer, Dizzy Gillespie, Art Blakey, Barney Wilen, Dave Liebman, Kenny Wheeler, Lee Konitz...
